How we work in plants outside Türkiye
Running an improvement programme in a plant abroad is rarely difficult because of the method. The difficulty is continuity: when the consultant leaves the site, the teams have to keep going on their own. That is why we build every programme so that local teams run their own projects and develop their own belt holders.
In Poland and Jordan we worked on international Lean programmes for Japan Tobacco International (JTI). In Romania we have delivered projects. In Iran, Ethiopia and Pakistan, Lean Six Sigma projects were part of more than 500 projects run across Türkiye, Pakistan, Iran and Ethiopia between 2013 and 2021. Every engagement and training is led personally by Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Abbas Erdenal.

DetailsHow an international programme runs.
- 1
Introductory call
We discuss the plant, the targets and the team structure in an online call. The working language (English or Turkish) and the scope of the first site visit are agreed at this stage.
- 2
Diagnosis on site
On the first visit we walk the lines, review the data and identify the largest losses together with the management team. Programme priorities are based on what we see on the shop floor.
- 3
Programme plan
We put into writing which projects run with which teams and in what order, so that headquarters and plant management work from the same plan.
- 4
Site visits and remote coaching
Projects move forward through regular site visits. Between visits we hold online coaching sessions with project leaders and review analyses and milestones together.
- 5
Training and sustainability
Belt training is delivered face to face, ideally at the plant itself. The goal is to build internal experts who keep the programme running without a consultant.
Frequently asked questions
Common questions.
In which countries outside Türkiye have you delivered projects?
Outside Türkiye we have delivered projects in Poland, Romania, Jordan, Iran, Ethiopia and Pakistan, 7 countries in total including Türkiye. The work in Poland and Jordan was part of international Lean programmes for Japan Tobacco International (JTI).
Which language do you work in on international projects?
Consulting and training are delivered in English or Turkish. We do not train in local languages; with local teams abroad, English is the common working language.
Is all the work done on site?
No, engagements combine site visits with online coaching between visits. Diagnosis, Kaizen events and training take place on site; project follow-up, analysis reviews and coaching sessions are held online.
Can you deliver belt training at our plant abroad?
Yes, White/Yellow, Green and Black Belt training can be delivered in-house at your plant. Belt training is face to face, and participants work on a real project from their own site during the programme.
Do you work with multinational groups that have several plants?
Yes, our international work has largely been with plants of multinational groups, including Lean programmes for JTI in Poland and Jordan. A common method and a common working language make it easier to compare results across sites.
